Ruby Kinney (Naseby, NZL) finished 3-3 in the 4-team qualifying round. . Kinney lost 9-5 to Rachael Pitts (Naseby, NZL) where Kinney responded with a 9-3 win over Du. Kinney went on to lose 7-5 against Peterson. Kinney responded with a 8-6 win over Pitts in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the New Zealand Junior National Championships Championship title, Kinney earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 172 spots the World Ranking Standings into 205th place overall with 3.750 total points. Kinney ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.750 points earned so far this season.
