Rachael Pitts (Naseby, NZL) finished 5-1 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pitts defeated Tahlia Peterson (Naseby, NZL) 9-7, then won 10-2 against Davina Du (Dunedin, NZL) and 9-5 against Ruby Kinney (Naseby, NZL). Pitts won 10-7 against Peterson, then won 8-3 against Du. Pitts went on to lose 8-6 against Kinney in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the New Zealand Junior National Championships, Pitts take home 2.750 world rankings points, moving up 192 spots the World Ranking Standings into 218th place overall with 2.750 total points. Pitts ranks 46th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
