To advance to the championship game, Smith won 16-1 over Joanna Olszewski (Naseby, NZL) in the semifinals

In their opening game, Smith defeated Lucy Neilson (Naseby, NZL) 11-4, then won 13-3 against Tahlia Peterson (Naseby, NZL) and 13-1 against Olszewski. Smith won 11-2 against Grace Apuwai-Bishop (Naseby, NZL), then won 8-3 against Smith and 16-4 against Olivia Oram (Naseby, NZL) in their final qualifying round match.
