Homan/Bottcher won 11-4 against Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB). Homan/Bottcher went on to lose 7-6 against Brittany Tran/Rylan Kleiter (Calgary, AB). Homan/Bottcher responded with a 8-3 win over Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon , SK). Homan/Bottcher won 6-4 against Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
