John Shuster (Duluth , MN) won 11-6 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the Final of the USA Curling National Championships, held January 27 - February 4, 2024 at the The Rink at American Dream in East Rutherford, United States. To advance to the championship game, Shuster won 7-5 over Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2024 USA Curling National Championships in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States;

Shuster finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) 10-3, then won 11-2 against Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA) and 10-4 against Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, MN). Shuster won 8-5 against Casper, then won 9-1 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) and 9-1 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Shuster won 8-5 against Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Curling National Championships Championship title, Shuster earned 37.500 world rankings points. Shuster move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of -9.562 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 17th overall with 149.000 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Shuster ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 149.000 points earned so far this season.
