In their opening game, Krause defeated Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST) 9-5, then won 11-4 against Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) and 6-5 against Kristof Czermann (Budapest, HUN). Krause won 8-4 against Chris Ribau (Lisbon, POR). Krause went on to lose 8-7 against Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA). Krause lost 7-1 to Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) where Krause responded with a 8-2 win over Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL) in their final qualifying round match.

Krause earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Krause did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Krause ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
