Rob Retchless (Preston, ENG) won 6-4 over Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, held November 18 - 25, 2023 at the Perth Curling Club in Perth, Scotland. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Retchless won 7-3 over Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Perth, Scotland, Scotland; of the 2024 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Perth, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Retchless finished 6-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retchless defeated Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK) 8-4, then won 9-8 against Ireland's John Wilson and 10-3 against Gontzal Garcia (San Sebastian, ESP). Retchless won 11-2 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL), then won 10-2 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Retchless went on to lose 11-3 against Genner. Retchless responded with a 11-1 win over Lukas Matt (Liechtenstein, LIE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships Championship title, Retchless earned 7.500 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Retchless did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Retchless ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
