Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) won 6-5 over Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, held November 18 - 25, 2023 at the Curl Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 8-3 over Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2024 Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;
Tirinzoni finished 9-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) 12-1, then won 8-4 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 7-4 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Tirinzoni won 8-4 against Roervik, then won 8-4 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) and 6-5 against Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST). Tirinzoni won 5-2 against Rebecca Morrison (Stirling , SCO), then won 8-6 against Emira Abbes (Fuessen, GER) and 7-2 against Constantini in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 67.500 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 37.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 226.250 points earned so far this season.
