Morrison responded with a 6-4 win over Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST). Morrison went on to lose 9-7 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Morrison earned 16.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
