In their opening game, Mooibroek defeated Josh Bryden (Regina, SK) 7-4, then won 9-4 against Owen Henry (St.Catherines, ON) and 10-5 against Nick Mosher (Halifax, NS). Mooibroek went on to lose 6-4 against Tao. Mooibroek responded with a 9-6 win over Jamie Stewart (Fredericton, NB). Mooibroek won 9-2 against Purcell. Mooibroek went on to lose 6-5 against Jayden King (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their fourth place finish at the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships, Mooibroek take home 3.000 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Mooibroek did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 27th to 28th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 120.875 total points.
