Jacob Jones (Hamilton, ON) lost 7-6 to Jacob Dobson (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, held March 12 - 16, 2024 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 10-3 over Cole Rivard (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals

Jones finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Rivard 13-5, then won 8-5 against Jacob Reid (Sault Ste Marie, ON) and 9-3 against Jaden Morlock (Red Deer, AB). Jones won 10-3 against Sean Borkovic (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-4 against Dobson and 8-1 against Brendan Chubaty (Assiniboine, MB). Jones went on to lose 6-4 against David Baum (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, Jones take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Jones did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jones ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
