Jacob Dobson (Toronto, ON) won 7-6 over Jacob Jones (Hamilton, ON) in the Final of the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships, held March 12 - 16, 2024 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Dobson won 10-5 over David Baum (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2024 CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships in Sudbury, Ontario;

Dobson finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dobson defeated Jaden Morlock (Red Deer, AB) 9-8, then won 8-4 against Sean Borkovic (Edmonton, AB) and 8-6 against Cole Rivard (Edmonton, AB). Dobson won 6-4 against Jacob Reid (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Dobson went on to lose 8-4 against Jones. Dobson responded with a 8-4 win over Baum. Dobson won 11-3 against Brendan Chubaty (Assiniboine, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CCAA / Curling Canada College Championships Championship title, Dobson earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 353 spots the World Ranking Standings into 256th place overall with 3.750 total points. Dobson ranks 263rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.750 points earned so far this season.
