Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) run at the 2023 New Year Curling in Miyota 2024 came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-3 loss to Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN). of the 2023 New Year Curling in Miyota 2024 in Miyota, Japan, Japan;

Ueno finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ueno defeated Kotoka Segawa (Morioka, JPN) 9-2, then went on to lose 6-2 against Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN). Ueno responded with a 8-2 win over Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR). Ueno won 6-4 against Yumi Suzuki (Tokyo , JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
