Cormier won 6-4 against Andrea Saulnier (Kentville, NS), then won 7-3 against Chantal Osborne (Thurso, QC). Cormier went on to lose 8-3 against Susan Froud (Alliston, ON). Cormier responded with a 6-5 win over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Cormier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
