Abby Burgess (Moncton, NB) won 6-4 over Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Superstore Lady Monctonian, held October 27 - 29, 2023 in Moncton, New Brunswick. To advance to the championship game, Burgess won 10-3 over Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2023 Superstore Lady Monctonian in Moncton, New Brunswick; and won 9-8 over Laurie Donaher (Moncton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Superstore Lady Monctonian in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Burgess finished 2-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burgess defeated Andrea Saulnier (Halifax, NS) 9-5, then went on to lose 5-4 against Quillian. Burgess responded with a 7-5 win over Jocelyn Adams (Halifax, NS). Burgess went on to lose 3-2 against Carly Smith (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Superstore Lady Monctonian Championship title, Burgess earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN first prize cheque, moving up 79 spots the World Ranking Standings into 147th place overall with 9.453 total points. Burgess ranks 115th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.500 points earned so far this season.
