Han/Zou finished 3-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Han/Zou defeated Aline Fellmann/Chris Kovalchuk (Montreal, QC) 9-6, then won 9-6 against Ziqi Dong/Xiu Yue Ma (Beijing, CHN) and 6-3 against Megan Smith/Doug Thomson (Newmarket, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the HARDLINE Sherbrooke Mixed Doubles, Han/Zou take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize. Han/Zou move up 63 spots after posting a net gain of 22.5 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 63rd overall with 33.126 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
