Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) qualified for the 2023 CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). of the 2023 CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;

Wendling finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wendling defeated Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-6 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Wendling lost 7-3 to Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, MN) where Wendling responded with a 11-2 win over Austin Kadlec (Rice Lake, WI). Wendling won 8-1 against Jed Brundidge (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
