Wiebe won 10-3 against Jace Freeman (Virden, MB). Wiebe went on to lose 2-0 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe responded with a 6-2 win over Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe won 8-3 against Freeman in their final qualifying round match.
Wiebe earned 5.438 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the MCT Championships. Wiebe move up 16 spots after posting a net gain of 5.063 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 111th overall with 23.353 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wiebe ranks 114th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.626 points earned so far this season.
