Jed Brundidge (Chaska, MN) lost 8-3 to Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Challenge, held September 8 - 10, 2023 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Brundidge won 9-2 over Takumi Maeda (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2023 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Brundidge finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brundidge defeated Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB) 7-6, then went on to lose 10-2 against Maeda. Brundidge responded with a 5-4 win over Grassie in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the MCT Challenge, Brundidge take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 59 spots the World Ranking Standings into 188th place overall with 11.450 total points. Brundidge ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.500 points earned so far this season.
