Rhyme finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rhyme defeated Rhonda Varnes (Winnipeg, MB) 7-2, then won 7-5 against Christine McMakin (Minneapolis, MN) and 7-5 against Katy Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the MCT Curling Cup Championship title, Rhyme earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. Rhyme move up 13 spots after posting a net gain of 6.984 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 75th overall with 34.562 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Rhyme ranks 76th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.500 points earned so far this season.
