Connolly won 6-4 against Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC), then won 5-4 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Connolly earned 4.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Island Shootout. Connolly move up 14 spots after posting a net gain of 2.304 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 120th overall with 22.531 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Connolly ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.750 points earned so far this season.
