Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC) qualified for the 2023 Island Shootout playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Kyler Kleibrink (Langley, BC). of the 2023 Island Shootout in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;

Joanisse won 8-6 against Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC), then won 7-6 against 's Jeff Guignard in their final qualifying round match.
