Peterson won 10-2 against Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX), then won 7-5 against Einarson. Peterson went on to lose 8-3 against Fujisawa. Peterson responded with a 8-3 win over Jessica Smith (Nasbey, NZL) in their final qualifying round match.
With their third place finish at the Pan-Continental Championships, Peterson earn 27.625 world rankings points, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 23.875 after improving upon their best so far this season. Peterson ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 87.125 points earned so far this season.
