Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) won 11-6 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships, held October 29 - November 4, 2023 in Kelowna, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 8-4 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN) in the semifinals
Gim finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX) 10-1, then won 15-2 against Jessica Smith (Nasbey, NZL). Gim went on to lose 9-8 against Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, USA). Gim responded with a 9-2 win over Australia's Jennifer Westhagen. Gim won 8-2 against Fujisawa, then won 9-8 against Einarson and 10-3 against Cynthia Lu (Taipei City, TPE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Pan-Continental Championships Championship title, Gim earned 48.750 world rankings points. Gim move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 27.75 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 351.016 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Gim ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 157.500 points earned so far this season.
