Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) won 8-3 over Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships, held October 29 - November 4, 2023 in Kelowna, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 8-3 over Andrew Stopera (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals
Gushue are currently 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue lost 8-5 to Park, then responded with a 8-2 win over Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL). Gushue won 7-5 against Stopera, then won 6-3 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) and 8-1 against Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE). Gushue won 9-4 against Australia's Jay Merchant, then won 11-1 against Rayad Husain (Georgetown, GUY). In their next game, Gushue plays.
For winning the Pan-Continental Championships Championship title, Gushue earned 37.500 world rankings points, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 379.250 total points. Gushue ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 118.625 points earned so far this season.
