To advance to the championship game, Papley/van Amsterdam won 10-3 over Kaylee Raniseth/Evan Crough (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals
Papley/van Amsterdam finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Papley/van Amsterdam defeated Brigitte Yeo/Matt Yeo (Beaumont, AB) 7-0, then won 10-3 against Addisyn Helmle/Cyton Corsie (Medicine Hat, AB) and 6-5 against Nedohin/Morris. Papley/van Amsterdam won 8-2 against Cuyler Desormeau/Daniel Humbke (Lethbridge, AB), then won 8-2 against Jessica Wytrychowski/Michael Dumont (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #2 Championship title, Papley/van Amsterdam earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $1,350CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -8.438 after improving upon their best so far this season. Papley/van Amsterdam ranks 46th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.314 points earned so far this season.
