In their opening game, Duncan defeated Fay Henderson (Stirling, GBR) 6-4, then won 8-5 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). Duncan went on to lose 7-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Duncan lost 8-2 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR) where Duncan responded with a 6-5 win over Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg , MB) in their final qualifying round match.
