Skrlik finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonron, AB) 11-4, then went on to lose 9-4 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Skrlik responded with a 7-3 win over Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB). Skrlik won 8-7 against Sturmay, then won 7-3 against Jodi Vaughan (Lethbridge, AB). Skrlik went on to lose 9-5 against Gray-Withers. Skrlik lost 9-8 to Jessie Hunkin (Spruce Grove, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Sentinel Storage Alberta Scotties, Skrlik take home 16.500 world rankings points.
