Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI) won 6-1 over Jolene Campbell (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic, held September 14 - 17, 2023 at the Granite Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Strouse won 7-5 over Kate Cameron (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 5-3 over Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Strouse finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strouse defeated Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then won 8-3 against Rachel Kaatz (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-3 against Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN). Strouse won 7-3 against Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Strouse earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Strouse ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.250 points earned so far this season.
