To advance to the championship game, Weagle/Epping won 8-2 over Lori Eddy/Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) in the semifinals of the 2023 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; and won 9-6 over Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada;
Weagle/Epping finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Weagle/Epping defeated Mackenzie Kiemele/Graham Singer (Toronto, ON) 5-2, then won 12-3 against Hanna Davis/Steve Davis (Mississauga, ON) and 9-2 against Jessica Shipmaker/Graeme Robson (Mississauga, ON). Weagle/Epping won 7-3 against Isabelle Ladouceur/Kibo Mulima (Waterloo, ON), then won 10-4 against Terri Weeks/Sam Steep (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic Championship title, Weagle/Epping earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque.
