To advance to the championship game, Anderson/Richardson won 9-5 over Madison Bear/Aidan Oldenburg (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States; and won 8-2 over Sarah Calcutt/Matthew Kenlan (Charlotte, NC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Southern Mixed Doubles in Charlote, North Carolina, United States;

Anderson/Richardson finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Anderson/Richardson defeated Emily Schweitzer/Blake Hagberg (Minneapolis, MN) 10-1, then won 7-1 against Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Northville, MI) and 10-0 against Vanessa Williams/Tom Straub (Nashville, TN, TN). Anderson/Richardson won 10-3 against Gabrielle Coleman/Connor Robertson (San Francisco , CA), then won 7-5 against Renee Sobering/Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Southern Mixed Doubles Championship title, Anderson/Richardson earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $3,729CDN first prize cheque.
