Marie Christianson (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2023 Bogside Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Sophie Blades (Summerside/Cornwall, PEI). of the 2023 Bogside Cup in Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada;

Christianson finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christianson defeated Blades 9-2, then won 7-3 against Jenny White (Crapaud, PEI). Christianson went on to lose 4-2 against Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB). Christianson responded with a 6-2 win over Lauren Ferguson (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

Christianson earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Bogside Cup. Christianson move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 3.937 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 67th overall with 45.059 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Christianson ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.375 points earned so far this season.
