Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) qualified for the 2023 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-8 against Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2023 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Barker finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Sherrilee Orsted (Moose Jaw, SK) 7-0, then went on to lose 5-4 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN). Barker responded with a 6-2 win over Sherry Just (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Barker earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series, remaining in 37th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3 after improving upon their best so far this season.
