Skaslien/Nedregotten Runner-Up at 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship

Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) lost 10-5 to Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship, held February 8 - 11, 2024 in Brantford, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Skaslien/Nedregotten won 6-5 over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship in Brantford, Ontario; and won 9-4 over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship in Brantford, Ontario;

Skaslien/Nedregotten finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien/Nedregotten defeated Brittany Tran/Catlin Schneider (Calgary, AB) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Kaldvee/Lill. Skaslien/Nedregotten responded with a 8-0 win over Jenna Page/Joey Rettinger (Hamilton, ON). Skaslien/Nedregotten won 7-6 against Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship, Skaslien/Nedregotten take home 35.750 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize. For week 29 of the event schedule, Skaslien/Nedregotten did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 2nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 133.500 total points.
