To advance to the championship game, Roenning/Braenden won 8-4 over Jiyoon Kim/ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 8-3 over Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Super Series - Halifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia;
 
Roenning/Braenden finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roenning/Braenden defeated Sarah Chaytor/David McCurdy (Halifax, NS) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) and 10-2 against Karlee Burgess/Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, MB). Roenning/Braenden won 7-0 against Heather Smith/Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS). Roenning/Braenden went on to lose 8-3 against Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.
