Kaldvee/Lill finished 5-0 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaldvee/Lill defeated Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON) 11-0, then won 8-6 against Haein Lee/Byeonghyeon Lim (Cheongju, KOR) and 7-3 against Courtney Woo/Daniel Wenzek (New Westminster, BC).
