Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA) qualified for the 2024 Sun City Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). of the 2024 Sun City Cup in Karlstad, Sweden;

Ribotta finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ribotta defeated Jan Tanner (Zug, SUI) 6-1, then went on to lose 5-4 against Sweden's Patric Klaremo. Ribotta lost 8-3 to Edin where Ribotta responded with a 6-3 win over Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Ribotta won 7-1 against Simon Granbom (Gavle, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Ribotta earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sun City Cup, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 71st place overall with 40.500 total points. Ribotta ranks 71st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.500 points earned so far this season.
