Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR) run at the 2024 Sun City Cup came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-2 loss to Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2024 Sun City Cup in Karlstad, Sweden; Harstad advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-5 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR).
 
Harstad finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harstad defeated Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 7-0, then won 5-4 against Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 8-3 against Ramsfjell. Harstad went on to lose 6-2 against Sweden's Fredrik Nyman. Harstad responded with a 9-2 win over Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL) in their final qualifying round match.
