Axel Landelius (Mjoelby, SWE) finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . Landelius went on to lose 4-1 against Krause in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sundbyberg Open, Landelius take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 35.368 total points. Landelius ranks 81st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.188 points earned so far this season.
