Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) lost 3-2 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Oslo Cup, held August 31 - September 3, 2023 in Oslo, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Roervik won 5-3 over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2023 Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway; and won 6-2 over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in the quarterfinals.

Roervik finished 4-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roervik defeated Robyn Munro (Stirling, GBR) 7-4, then won 6-4 against Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI) and 8-3 against Moa Dryburgh (Stockholm, SWE). Roervik won 6-2 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Oslo Cup, Roervik take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 220.125 total points. Roervik ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 42.375 points earned so far this season.
