Schwaller responded with a 5-4 win over Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Schwaller went on to lose 7-5 against Martine Roenning (Lillehammer, NOR). Schwaller responded with a 7-5 win over Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Schwaller won 8-4 against Therese Westman (Stockholm, SWE), then won 8-7 against Pia-Lisa Schoell (Fuessen, GER) and 9-1 against Chiaki Matsumura (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Schwaller earned 28.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 39 of the event schedule, Schwaller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Schwaller ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
