Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, CAN) won 8-4 over Jackie Lockhart (Perth, SCO) in the Final of the World Senior Womens Curling Championship, held April 21 - 29, 2023 in Gangneung, Korea. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Anderson won 7-3 over Switzerland's Monika Gafner to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 World Senior Womens Curling Championship in Gangneung, Korea;
 
Anderson finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Anderson defeated Japan's Miyuki Kawamura 12-2, then won 7-4 against Camilla Noreen (Stockholm, SWE) and 7-6 against Margie Smith (St. Paul, USA). Anderson won 8-3 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung, then won 8-4 against Joanna Olszewski (Naseby, NZL) and 9-1 against Rasa Veronika Jasaitiene (Vilnius, LTU). Anderson won 9-2 against Manon Harsch (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Anderson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
