Schwaller responded with a 9-6 win over Hans Frauenlob (Naseby, NZL). Schwaller won 9-5 against Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT), then won 10-4 against Germany's Christoph Moeckel and 8-4 against John Brown (Kent, ENG). Schwaller won 12-1 against Korea's Inseon Cheon in their final qualifying round match.
