10-7 to Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS), then responded with a 5-4 win over Adrian Meikle (Hawarden, WAL). Andreassen won 9-1 against Gregor Rigler (Ljubliana, SLO), then won 8-6 against Graeme Connal (Perth, SCO). Andreassen went on to lose 8-6 against Joel Larway (Seattle, USA). Andreassen lost 9-5 to Hong Kong's Chun Ngok Wong. Andreassen lost 7-4 to Ireland's Bill Gray where Andreassen responded with a 9-3 win over Margus Tubalkain (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
