LaVallee finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, LaVallee lost 7-4 to Comte, then responded with a 9-5 win over Alberta's Calvin Novak. LaVallee won 7-6 against Ontario's David Morton in their final qualifying round match.
