United States's Daniel Bliven won 8-4 over United States's Matt Mellin in the Final of the USA Curling 5-Under National Championship, held April 20 - 23, 2023 in Duluth, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, United States's Daniel Bliven won 9-6 over United States's Tyler Townsend in the semifinals of the 2023 USA Curling 5-Under National Championship in Duluth, Minnesota; and won 10-2 over United States's Alyssa Parks in the quarterfinals.

In their opening game, United States's Daniel Bliven lost 5-3 to United States's Tyler Townsend, then responded with a 6-4 win over United States's Erik Sanders. United States's Daniel Bliven won 5-4 against United States's Ben Hoppe, then won 7-4 against United States's Greg Gargano and 7-2 against United States's Sabrina Atkins- Brantley in their final qualifying round match.
