Kiemele finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kiemele defeated Grace Beaudry (Calgary, AB) 5-4, then went on to lose 10-3 against Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB). Kiemele lost 5-4 to Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) where Kiemele responded with a 5-3 win over Skylar Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK). Kiemele won 8-5 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kiemele earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic, moving up 49 spots the World Ranking Standings into 109th place overall with 18.269 total points. Kiemele ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.625 points earned so far this season.
