In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 7-2 against Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) and 7-5 against Nathan Young (St. Johns, NL). Wiebe won 5-4 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe went on to lose 6-4 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
