After advancing directly to the championship game, Emmi Lindroos (Helsinki, FIN) lost 5-4 to Miia Ahrenberg (Lohja, ) in the Final of the Finnish Women's Championships, held February 17 - 19, 2023 in Joensuu, Finland. of the 2023 Finnish Women's Championships in Joensuu, Finland;

Lindroos finished 4-0 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lindroos defeated Elina Virtaala (Joensuu-Ahvenanmaa, ) 8-6, then won 5-4 against Ahrenberg and 11-5 against Henna Isoniemi (Turku-Hyvinkaa, FIN). Lindroos won 13-2 against Ella Eivola (Turku-Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Finnish Women's Championships, Lindroos take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Lindroos did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lindroos ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
