Kayla MacMillan/Sterling Middleton (Vancouver, BC) won 8-0 over Emily Riley/Jesse Mullen (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Summer Series, held August 17 - 20, 2023 in St-Felicien, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, MacMillan/Middleton won 8-4 over Anne Sophie Gionest/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC) in the semifinals   of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; and won 7-6 over Clancy Grandy/Catlin Schneider (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; 
 
MacMillan/Middleton finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacMillan/Middleton defeated Amber Gargul/Leandre Girard (Pointe-Claire, QC) 8-2, then won 8-7 against Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-5 against Megan Lafrance/Raphael Tremblay (Saguenay, QC). MacMillan/Middleton won 11-6 against Edith Cottenoir/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Summer Series Championship title, MacMillan/Middleton earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 4 of the event schedule, MacMillan/Middleton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 128th place on the World Ranking Standings with 12.000 total points. MacMillan/Middleton ranks 388th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
